Arizona Maternity Shoot Locations

As a Phoenix maternity photographer, I’ve been all over the valley capturing motherhood. For this post, I’m going to focus on my top 3 favorite outdoor locations for maternity photos.

1. Mesa maternity photos- Tonto National Forest- these maternity photos were taken along the way to Canyon Lake, but Tonto is huge with so much diversity! You seriously cannot go wrong. You’re got the lakes, the Superstitions and so much open desert.

2. Phoenix maternity photos- Papago Park. It can get crowded due to the very popular hike so I always suggest if you’d like to take maternity photos here, we shoot for a week day. But the way the sunshine hits the red rock is pretty magical.

3. Salt River maternity photos- There are too many amazing locations to count. Depending on the time of year, the water levels change, so I always make sure I know what the current levels are. But it’s a great spot if you need a change-up from your typical desert landscape and if we’re lucky, we might even see wild horses!
