Whitney and I go way back. Played in many volleyball games together and had some real good times. But nothing compares to the memories we’re making now with our kids. She’s always so welcoming of me and my girls into their home and is truly the best hostess. She’s an incredible mother that handles five children with ease. She’s so calm and loving and on the ball. I’m thankful for her friendship.

We’ve shot their family photos at some gorgeous locations over the years, but this was my favorite to date. Whitney had seen some of my previous work down at the Salt River and knew that’s where she wanted to go. Keep in mind permits are required to enter the Tonto National Forest, but once you’re in, there are several different locations along the river that are stunning for photoshoots. You can’t go wrong.
